Belkin F2E9142-WHT Pro Series ADC to DVI Apple Monitor Adapter
From Belkin Components

Apple Monitor Adapter (ADC) for Apple Computers, otherwise known as Apple Display Connector (ADC) to Digital Video Input (DVI) Adapter, is made specifically for the new Power Macintosh G4 and the Power Macintosh G4 Cube user who wishes to continue to use their former Apple Cinema Display monitor, Apple Studio Display monitor or any other third party monitor featuring a DVI Flat Panel Display. The new Power Macintosh G4 and G4 Cube both include a graphics card that no longer offers the DVI connector that the older Power Macintosh G4 units provided. Instead, they offer only the new Apple Display Connector. And, as a result, the older style monitors that use the graphics card in the previous versions of the Power Macintosh G4 computer, which included the DVI connector, can no longer connect to the new versions of the Mac G4 and G4 Cube.

Works perfectly No great mystery here. You have an ADC port on your Mac, and you have a DVI input monitor, then this is what you need. In my case, a PowerMac G5 with ATI Radeon 9600 (oem) video card and an LCD monitor with DVI input. I plugged this adapter into my PowerMac's ADC port and into a DVI monitor cable (that came with my monitor, hoooked it to my LCD monitor, and *poof* instant connection. No fuss, no muss. (Note: I already had another DVI monitor plugged into the DVI connection of my ATI video card, which is why I needed this adapter for a second monitor.) Works as described I just bought two 22 Inch widescreen displays for my Dual G5 Mac tower. The video card it came with was a dual head (one DVI and one Apple Display Connector (ADC). This cable allowed me to connected the proprietary Apple port to a standard DVI port and get video out of the ADC to the display. Beautiful results. Works Great with a Viewsonic VA2226W Flatscreen Display This Adapter worked perfectly for me. I used it on a Power Mac G5 Desktop, Dual 2 GHz G5, model #M9032LL/A with ATI Radeon 9600 ProGraphics. I had a Viewsonic VGA monitor already connected to the DVI port through a DVI to VGA adapter. I wanted to add a second display, a Viewsonic LCD display (VA2226w) I used the converter on the computers ADC port to connect a DVI -D dual link digital cable to the monitors DVI input and it worked, no problems.
