Flexclip Copyholder - Black
From ACCO/KENSINGTON

Kensington offers FlexClip copyholder, the flexible arm that attaches anywhere. The FlexClip's 'Goose-neck' positions papers precisely. It attaches to nearly any hard-surface monitors, notebook computers, etc. Its small size lets it fit into a briefcase.
Color: BLACK Brand: Kensington Model: 62081 Platform: No Operating System Original language: English, French, Spanish Number of items: 1 Dimensions: 1.50" h x 5.50" w x 10.26" l, .18 pounds

very poorly made This did not last two minutes out of the package. The springs popped out before I ever began typing. Don't even bother with this product. Good concept but needs redesign This small device would be excellent if it didn't keep breaking. The spring clips have far too much strength for the flimsy plastic jaws. After two clips broke on me, I was determined to make it work as I like the small size and simplicity of the holder. With some difficulty I removed the broken clip completely, and attached the bendy wire to the black plastic piece on monitor with a small C-clamp. Clunky, to say the least. I treat the clip that holds the paper with great care and don't let it close with a snap. It will hold several pieces of paper or a lightweight magazine. Kensington makes some other good products. It can't be too hard for them to improve this one so that it fulfils its promise. Perfect for a flat-panel monitor! This flexclip copy holder is the perfect solution for a flat-panel monitor. The coil is completely flexible to allow just the right placement of copy. You won't be able to remove the clip and put it on another monitor, though -- once you break the adhesive grip, it won't hold well again. If your flat-panel monitor has a very slim rounded top, just place the clip along the side -- you can bend the clip into an upside-down "U" to get it where you need it for your copy.

Targus 19.1- Inch Widescreen LCD Monitor Privacy Filter (ASF19WUSZ)
From Targus

The Targus 19.1¿ Widescreen LCD Monitor Privacy Filter is designed to fit 19.1¿ widescreen LCD monitors. To protect your information, tiny vertical blinds on the surface of the screen narrow the viewing angle so data is only visible directly in front of the monitor up to 45 degrees away from the center of the screen. Onlookers will only see a dark unclear screen when attempting to view the information from a side angle. In addition to providing security, the privacy filter also blocks the glare to help reduce eye strain. The Targus LCD Monitor Privacy Filter can be easily attached by using clear adhesive strips designed for LCD screens or with the included tab guides that stick to the edge of the LCD screen to hold the filter in place. Users can position the tabs so the filter easily slides on and off. Highly portable and easy to use, the Targus privacy screen protects valuable information on a laptop and LCD monitor from onlookers.
Color: N/A Brand: Targus Model: ASF19WUSZ Platform: Windows Format: CD Original language: English Dimensions: 11.90" h x 14.80" w x .12" l, .80 pounds

Not too bad but not ideal for cubicle city I bought this product because of two needs -- cut down the glare on my LCDs and keep the content private. It works great to cut the glare. The privacy filter is okay. I expected the image to be blurry when looking at it from afar but it is not. I was hoping for it be clear only when you are right in front of it. People walking about 10 feet away can see what is on there as long as they are right in front of it. View dimmed at sides Because of the width, if you focus on the center of the screen, the left and right sides of the screen views are dim (in the state of a little partially blocked). Also, my purpose to purchase this screen is for anti-glare filter. It does not do a good job on this function. Its anti-glare function is worse than those filters not designed for any-spy.

looks great, product is so-so That 15 pages is being generous - this paper stand holds maybe a dozen or so pages, if that, before they start to stick. Only buy this if you plan to have the paper you're looking at sit there for several minutes while you type stuff from it or whatever. If you're like me and do data entry that requires flipping pages every minute or so, this is probably the wrong product for you. In that case, but a traditional paper tray that sits upright at a slant, that you can put a whole big stack of papers on, and slide them off the pile much faster. At least the product looks really cool though. Great product! Forget those bulky, flimsy page stands for typing of the past! I love Page Ups! They make great gifts for folks who do a lot of writing--teachers, students, doctors, lawyers, business people, journalists, reporters, secretaries, etc. They are generally sturdy and can also hold recipe cards, index cards, note cards, postcards, cards for display, greeting cards, information cards, how-to-instruction booklets, thin hobby diagrams, etc. Just think of them as small, but weighted paper stands. I have three of them--different colors! :)

Standby doesn't work This product works okay except if the computer trys to put the monitor in standby, it doesn't work. I am returning the product. It don't work. My experience was similar to what several others here have mentioned. The first day I hooked it up, it worked. The next day it did not. When I hit the button to switch computers I get unreliable results...usually it switches the video but not the mouse and keyboard. I have found that by flipping it about 4 times it will sync itself and I get control of the desired computer. You might have to jiggle the remote switch plug a little before you get contact. The light on the remote switch must glow either green or yellow. If not, jam the plug in harder. When it was working, I did find an annoying 6 second delay before the mouse and keyboard would activate. The video is instant. I'm also trying an Airlink 101 and I find it switches instantly, so it can be done. It's a nice attractive design and the snake style combined usb/video cable to the computer is great along with pervasive yet subtle color coding. I love the cute little remote switch button with long thin extension cable for convenient placement; it can also be used as a foot switch, which is great. I like having a dedicated hardware switch rather than hot-key only operation. Device requires no software....a major plus, but hotkey operation is available with a software download. Airlink 101 has a built in hotkey, Belkin should do that too since it allows hotkey operation with no software. Other people here have more patience or are more forgiving of quirks....they say it's finicky. Or in my case I could say "just click it four times and it might do it." Blather....it either works or it doesn't, and it don't! A simple device like this has no excuse not to work perfectly, all day, every day. How hard can it be...we're not splicing DNA here. A first rate design at a good price, unfortunately DOA. You never know what you're gonna get! With this product, you get to be surprised every time you sit down to the computer. You never know if it is going to switch between your two computers and, if it actually does, you are probably going to be looking at a screen in 800x600 video because it can't properly detect the video mode. Most of the time it just fails to recognize the other machine and you have to unplug everything and re-plug it in. It has a lot of cabling which basically just clutters up your cables without adding any value. Definitely avoid.

Beware of this product I bought the DualHead2Go (from Amazon, fulfilled through ANTOnline) to connect my macbook pro to two 24" monitors. Everything in the product said that it would work, but it didn't. After hours working with it and online with Matrox Tech Support, they finally decided that it didn't support my HP monitors in full resolution. (Your monitor has to be capable of syncing at 58Hz, which some can't.) I could still use it while losing about 25% of my screen real estate (at 60Hz), but that's not why I want two monitors! When I tried to return it, I had a small tear in the internal cardboard packaging because I couldn't figure out how to open it. ANTOnline didn't return my emails for months, and then finally told me that the return period had expired while they hadn't responded. It's been days and days of hassle. So be very careful with the DualHead2Go and especially with ANTOnline. Double header It is a great product. Does as promised. This is the second of this devices that I own. I also own an analog edition DoubleHead 2 Go. Two small problems with it. The setup is not as intuitive as it should be, and requires serveral startup cycles to get the right resolution (and it is still a tricky issue). The second issue with it is that even though you get two screens, windows treats them as one big screen. This means that you can not split them. So you basically have only to config options: a) Laptop - Screen - Screen b) Screen - Screen - Laptop For me the best option would be c) Screen - Laptop - Screen But this configuration is not possible unless you like to have it as one of the two supported configs (a or b) logically and physically as (c) But then you would get wierd warping of windows as you move from one screen to another. I do not know if this is a limitation because of windows, but if those two issues were resolve I would rate this product 5 stars. On more thing, before you buy you need to go to the Matrox website to see if your Laptop's Display card is supported, and if it supports the correct resolution for the two monitors you are going to use. They have a wizard that helps you with this. Great product. works beautifully on Mac This is a great product to provide a wide workplace for single video output machines, or maybe for a dual screen terminal session for notebooks (without using the notebook screen as one of them). I'd waited for the digital version to come out, as I wanted to use my DVI inputs on the monitors. I had expected DVI input to the device, so was mildly disappointed to find it's VGA input, DVI output. (so back to the dvi->vga adapter for the mac). But it works great. installed like a dream. (but did have to go to preferences and manually tell the mac that I had a 2800 wide display). works fine, the screen is stretched across the two monitors. Lesson #1. get monitors with the thinnest side frames possible, to reduce the "gap" in the middle of the display. Lesson #2. Adjust your preferences so that windows open up in the left or right side of the display. otherwise, they will tend to open in the middle and be interrupted by the monitor edge gap. Especially annoying when you light up a Windows session over citrix, as things like powerpoint will insist on centering the display, so you end up dragging the window to the left or right a lot. But overall, this is great. Move my Eyetv or audio editing on one monitor and do other work on the other. Most happy with this, and a whole lot cheaper than buying a 36" monitor.
