Moleskine Pocket Perfection
A great companion to a stack of index cards. Instead of ripping pages out of my moleskine notebooks, I scribble things on index cards and file them away in my memo pockets for later. I also use it to hold business cards, gift cards, and receipts. Basically everything that I used to keep in my wallet but didn't use every day. I tote this around in my briefcase with me. It's basically six of the pockets that are included in the back of a Moleskine notebook sandwiched between the same cover. One caveat: because it's not a book, it tends to "squish" more easily, and could get bent out of shape if you carried it in your back pocket all the time. But it fits fantastically in the pocket of a sportcoat or suit jacket.
Does exactly what I need
I travel a lot for work and I have to keep track of receipts. In addition, I'm often traveling with my boss and have to manage his receipts as well. This simple, high quality pocket-book (in the litteral sense), is exactly what I need to do that well. I can toss it in my bag and have no worries that I'll misplace anything I put in it. The multiple pockets allow me to organize receipts as I go, rather than having to deal with a mass of them after a long trip. Moleskine is a great company and this is a great product.
Excellent for Organizing a Purse
This little memo pockets moleskine is the perfect size for a purse, and allows me to put all the items that I used to store in my wallet but used only twice a week or so - stamps, gift cards, coupons, membership/discount cards to various places, bandaids, notes, business cards, etc etc. Now I have a slim wallet for the items I use daily (cash, credit card and driver's license) and this moleskine in my purse. It keeps my wallet from exploding but I still feel prepared for anything that might come up. The cover and interior are high quality, heavy material and holds up well to daily abuse, and the strap keeps everything closed and tidy. Recommended for anyone who wants to keep their purse neat but also is compulsive about being perpetually prepared for any emergency.
