Lite duty copy holder4
A no frill, light duty copy holder. It worked as advertised.

handy device4
I was glad to find this product as it was the simplest of its kind I could locate online, and I haven't seen any in stores. It holds only a few pieces of paper, however - it won't support a booklet or book, for example. The clipholder sometimes falls off of the velcro that holds it to the computer, but never when I'm actually using it to hold a document. It's a nice feature that the clip swivels to different angles. It folds back out of the way when not needed, and the arm can be removed altogether if needed.

I like my copyholder!4
I like this swingarm copy holder very much. I don't do a lot of typing so i just needed something small. It sticks to the computer so I never have to remember where i put it, and it swings flat out of my way when i'm not using it. I am pleased with this product. Thanx!

  • Brand: Matrox
  • Model: T2G-A3A-AJF-P
  • Dimensions: 12.00" h x 3.00" w x 10.00" l, 2.30 pounds

Customer report4
I had a Matrox parhelia card which permitted gaming on three monitors. It was slow and there were no upgrades. Triplehead is a device that attaches to your current video card so that 3 monitors can be used. Works great for me. I have upgraded video cards twice (nvidia) and have had no problems. You can have 3 separate screens for work or you can spread the images over 3 screens for gaming. FSX and Titan Quest look great over 3 screens.

If you play World of Warcraft, Counter Strike, Unreal Tournament, Flight Simulator, etc. you got to get this!4
I have this set up on my Falcon Northwest gaming computer along with three Samsung 22 inch widescreen monitors. All I can say is that it makes an incredible difference in playing World of Warcraft, MS Flight Simulator and ESPECIALLY Counter Strike.

When I first hooked it up I was just plain blown away! Everything was so much more realistic and I saw so many things I had missed before I got it, I could never go back to only one monitor again.

When playing Counter Strike I can honestly say my frag rate has gone up quite a bit because I no longer have any blind spots on the sides (where other players can hide and ambush me from) that in its self was worth the money.

It truly has made playing games a lot more fun along with making me a much better player (well much better than I was before I got it).

Till the day comes where they get 3D for computer games, if you really want to be immersed in your games this is what rocks.

There are a couple of possible downsides I should mention, none which are major...

It does take a bit of tweaking to get it working but I found nothing major and the info at the company website covered all the questions I had during setup.

When you start playing it does take a while to get used to the "surround screen" feel. Your eyes are not used to all the peripheral eye candy on each side screen and you may find yourself a little overwhelmed with all that screen real estate for the first couple of days. Quick movement, usually in combat, is where I noticed it the most. I think it is much like what fighter pilots must feel when they get their first experience in a flight simulator. After a day or two your eyes and mind adjust and it becomes second nature.

My other issue is that although the list of supported games is very extensive, it does not support every game so before purchasing you should check out: www.surroundgaming.com to see if your favorite game is supported. (Note: I just loaded Unreal Tournament III and while it does not show up as a supported game it is working like a champ.)

On a scale of 1 to 5 I give it a big 4.75.

Works Best with NVidia Cards -- Not Well With ATI3
I can not imagine going back to single screen game playing or computing again, and if that's the functionality you're looking for, then the Matrox TripleHead2Go is definitely the product for you. It will not impede system performance or frame rates in any way which is a vast advantage over software based, multi-screen solutions. However, be aware that it does have some resolution issues with ATI video cards.

I already use Matrox's DualHead2Go and I get better screen resolution across two screens, with my third monitor hooked into the second head on my video card with it, so, unfortunately, I had to return this item. The maximum resolution the TripleHeadToGo could achieve across 3 screens with my ATI 1950x Pro video card was 800 x 600 per screen, which is too low for Flight Simulator 2004, the sole reason I bought this. I will happily stick with my DualHead2Go without complaint either way.

Matrox has historically performed better on Nvidia cards, which, in turn have historically not performed well with MicroSoft Flight Simulator. Nvidia drivers appear to be addressing these problems so the TripleHead2Go will be of greater value once those driver issues are fully addressed.

      Connection Diagram:

Very Good Product4
This was very easy to hook up & use. Flips back & force between 2 boxes and one monitor & mouse. Does not lose the mouse or keyboard when changing from one box to the next.

Worked well at first3
This switch was so much cheaper and more attractive than the other models that I decided to try it. It works flawlessly for the laptop, but it keeps dropping the video signal for the home computer.

It could be Vista, or the fact that we're running two monitors on the home computer, but either way it keeps resetting the nvidia control panel to defaults that don't work. The mouse and keyboard controls work but the video signal quit switching.

Also the USB ports don't recognize some items (specifically the webcam).

Not with an ergo keyboard3
The product didn't work with my MS natural ergonomic keyboard 4000 v1.0. I tryed other keyboards and they were just fine. The ergo keyboard had an echo like behavior where random keystrokes were repeated. No work around was found.

Moleskine Pocket Perfection4
A great companion to a stack of index cards. Instead of ripping pages out of my moleskine notebooks, I scribble things on index cards and file them away in my memo pockets for later. I also use it to hold business cards, gift cards, and receipts. Basically everything that I used to keep in my wallet but didn't use every day. I tote this around in my briefcase with me. It's basically six of the pockets that are included in the back of a Moleskine notebook sandwiched between the same cover. One caveat: because it's not a book, it tends to "squish" more easily, and could get bent out of shape if you carried it in your back pocket all the time. But it fits fantastically in the pocket of a sportcoat or suit jacket.

Does exactly what I need4
I travel a lot for work and I have to keep track of receipts. In addition, I'm often traveling with my boss and have to manage his receipts as well. This simple, high quality pocket-book (in the litteral sense), is exactly what I need to do that well. I can toss it in my bag and have no worries that I'll misplace anything I put in it. The multiple pockets allow me to organize receipts as I go, rather than having to deal with a mass of them after a long trip. Moleskine is a great company and this is a great product.

Excellent for Organizing a Purse5
This little memo pockets moleskine is the perfect size for a purse, and allows me to put all the items that I used to store in my wallet but used only twice a week or so - stamps, gift cards, coupons, membership/discount cards to various places, bandaids, notes, business cards, etc etc. Now I have a slim wallet for the items I use daily (cash, credit card and driver's license) and this moleskine in my purse. It keeps my wallet from exploding but I still feel prepared for anything that might come up. The cover and interior are high quality, heavy material and holds up well to daily abuse, and the strap keeps everything closed and tidy. Recommended for anyone who wants to keep their purse neat but also is compulsive about being perpetually prepared for any emergency.

Good Basic Colorimeter4
Pros: Good, well contructed, colorimeter for the novice, easy to use software walks you through every step. I notice a definite improvement in my new 22" WS LCD's picture. I had tried Adobe Gamma and Quick Gamma, but these programs rely on your eyes for making brightness and contrast corrections, and setting gamma. My eyes are not as sharp as they were 20 years ago.

Cons: The new updated software, version 2.3, has been out since June, 2006 but Colorvision is still shipping with the older version. Go to their website [...]), download 2.3 (110.3 MB), install it, and use the keycode on your 2.2 version to run it. The 2.3 version changes the target white point for LCDs to 6500K instead of Native. I personally prefer 6500k anyway. Gamma 2.2 and 6500K are the only choices with the Express. If you want more choices you will have to purchase the more expensive Pro version.
After calibration and exiting the software I got a "Can not find color profile" error message. Rebooting solved this.
With the counter-weight adjusted, I still had to tilt my LCD monitor back 15 - 20 degrees before I could get the Spyder to lay completely flat on the screen.

So That's What it Should Look Like5
I am always editing photos and then getting back the prints and wondering where I went wrong. I tried using manual color calibration tools which did make a big difference, but my color was still not quite right. This was so easy and accurate I regret not doing it sooner. All you have to do is install the software, disable any color altering settings you currently have in use, plug it in and let it go. It takes a few minutes going through various colors and then it is done, just like that. I have done this on both my desktop LCD and notebook LCD and they both look great. The colors just seem to have more contrast and detail. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get accurate color representation out of their monitors but don't want to spend a lot of time doing it.

Easy as can be5
Just load the software and plug it in. Follow the instruction on screen and that's it.

Couldn't be easier and the results are great. My prints now look like what I see on the monitor. Photo paper and ink are expensive. This item has already saved me more in paper and ink than it cost to buy.

Great for Mac and PC Sharing5
I bought this KVM a few weeks ago after scouring the web for USB KVM boxes. This was one of the few out there that qualified. The reason I needed a USB switch was for my wife's computer, which is an Apple Power Mac G4. The other computer hooked up to it is a clone Pentium 3 system. So far, we have not had any problems with the unit. In general, we tend to put the Apple in sleep mode when we shut in down rather then power it off altogether. When we switch back to the Apple after using the PC for a while, the Apple automatically turns on without having to wake it up. On the PC side, I am running Windows XP, and I normally shut it down in hibernation mode. Switching from the Apple to the PC, all I have to do is hit the power button, and I'm up and running with both the mouse and keyboard completely functional.

One side note - I am using the Macintosh USB keyboard that came with the Power Mac, and the USB mouse is a Microsoft Optical. So far, both of these devices have worked great between the two computers. Also, we have an HP DeskJet printer which we share between the two computers, and I plugged the printer into one of the two USB slots that are on the front of the KVM. So far, it's worked great.

Other then it being PC and MAC friendly, this is a great system if only for the fact that it comes complete with everything you need to set it up - no need to go out and buy more cables. The only drawback I could see is that you are limited to sharing the KVM between only two computers. But if what you are looking for is a good (and inexpensive) way to share one keyboard, mouse, and monitor with two computers (whether it is a MAC or PC), then this would be a sound solution for you.

Iogear 2 Port USB KVM Switch4
I do like the Iogear KVM switch as it is an upgrade from the simpler switch I had before. The original only controlled the keyboard, mouse, and monitor. The new one controls those three, plus all USBs I have hooked up to it, from one computer to the other, including the printer.
The only three "setbacks" I have had with this switch is that it has to sit on my desktop because you have to press a button on the switch to change from one computer to the other. I would prefer the hot key (scroll lock) switch on my keyboard like my older model had. Second, the printer will stop printing if you switch computers while the printing job is still happening. I would like to see some type of a continuation set up that would allow the printer to finish the current job. Third, the USB ports are not 2.0 and therefore a little slow to recognize the switch. There is a unit that has all 2.0, but is 2 or 3 times more expesnive than this model. The cost difference is not worth it for a few seconds of lag time on the switch.

Works perfectly for enhanced keyboards.5
I had another KVM that uses emulation to keep the system believing that there is always a connection, but when I upgraded to an enhanced keyboard, the enhancements wouldn't work. This switch doesn't use emulation, and all of the enhanced features now work well. I use my primary w/s for gaming and my Windows 2003 Server (x64 edition) is the other PC connected to this KVM, and this switch doesn't cause any issues.

Simple and effective5
Just installed one of these. No problems and works fine with my Samsung 46-inch LCD.

Instructions are clear and complete. They are generic instructions for a variety of televisions but include an 18-page list of TV models indicating exactly which of the bolts, spacers, washers, etc. are to be used with each model. Each variety and size of this miscellaneous hardware comes individually packaged and labeled to match the instructions.

The general idea is to attach the wall plate to the wall; attach the brackets to the TV; then hang the TV (via the brackets) on the wall plate.

A few installation hints:

1) It is a two-person job so plan on having some help. A second person is a big help when lining up the wall-plate to be sure you drill the holes so that the TV ends up level and in the position you want. And, chances are your TV is too heavy or bulky to be moved safely by one person anyway.

2) You will want to read and re-read the instructions before you start.

3) Once you have a feel for the instructions use a yellow highlighter to mark information specific to your situation and to mark the packaging for the bolts, etc. you need.

4) Use of a small mirror and flashlight can help you direct the long allen wrench to the bolts that lock the brackets to the wall plate. Holding the flashlight is another place where a second pair of hands can help.

5) Do not adjust nor lock-in the tilt until after you have connected the wires to the back of the TV. Better yet, attach them before hanging the TV onto the wall plate.

UPDATE:

I read in another review that you should have a level and a stud finder. I probably should have mentioned that in my hints above but didn't think to since I already had those things. So, I agree, you will want to use those to do the job correctly. For the stud finder, get a reasonably good one as the cheap ones are not much better than tapping on the wall and listening for the best sounding spots. I have a Zircon 60369 Studsensor I65 Onestep Center Finding Stud Finder (which I bought at Lowe's). It says "Center Finding" but what I like is the way it also identifies the edges of studs. If I can get repeatable locations on both edges and the center then I believe I have found the stud! Zircon sells more expensive models so if you have difficult walls (e.g. plywood, or plaster with lath) you may want to consider those, but this model worked fine for my typical 5/8" drywall over 2x4 studs, even with some plaster over the drywall.

Another good tip I saw was to attach the brackets to the TV first thing. This will allow you to measure more carefully exactly where you want the wall plate. Come to think of it, this is exactly what I did, but for a different reason. I wanted to be sure the brackets would fit my TV before committing myself to drilling holes in the wall!

One touch tilt???3
The TV wall mount is of good quality, but it is by no means a "One Touch Tilt" model. Both of the brackets have adjustments on them and consequently they must both be adjusted in order to tilt the TV up or down. Not a bad TV mount, but it is not what I ordered. Be careful when purchasing a flat-panel TV mount. Do some research and visit the manufacurers website before choosing which model you want. After you choose the model that fits your application, go back and find it on Amazon. Do not rely on the product descriptions listed on Amazon because I have found several of them to be inaccurate. I hope this info will help others make a more educated choice when they purchase their TV wall mount brackets.

Friendly Warning2
Be aware that many of the mounts on Amazon are incorrectly labled for TV size. The mounting bracket for this unit is only 30" wide. The mounting holes on the back of my 47" TV are 31" apart! Therefore this unit will not work. The best bet if you want this brand is to go with tht ST670P. It's mounting bracket is 37" wide. Though I doubt it will support the 73" TV it claims it should work for TV's in the 50" range.

GREAT KVMP!!!5
I Have used kvm switches for about 10 years now and this by far is the most effecient switch I Have used.this switch is fully spectd for USB 2.0 I use a wireless keyboard and mouse-one is bluetooth, one is wifi...both are plugged into the KVM switch and work flawlessly....a great product at a good price for anyone needing to have this quality product take care of their KVM needs..... Bob Christison

Works with the ThinkPad5
I bought and returned two other KVMPs because they simply didn't work with the Lenovo ThinkPad or its docking station. This one does.

It also easily does everything else it advertises. I like playing music from one computer and working, or switching between another. Also, if your VOIP setup is on one computer, and you are tinkering on another, this setup can be handy.

I have had NO problems with this switch.

USB 2.0 speeds, DVI video, it has all the features I wanted.

Great KVM for high-end setups5
This KVM was designed for high-end CAD, CAM, Gaming etc. and it works flawlessly for me. I spent a long time researching different models and very few are really capable of supporting high-end devices. Most KVM devices don't support high resolutions, many don't spoof dvi ports which can cause problems on startup if the device is not focused on the computer as it is being booted. Some, although it seems improbable, only support USB 1.1.

With this setup I am running two computers connecting to a DELL LCD display at 1920 x 1200. The picture is perfect. One of the computers is 25 feet of DVI cable away which is irresponsible of me because that is generally considered too far away to be running at such a high resolution. I am also flagrantly disregarding the USB 2.0 spec by running a USB cable over 15 feet; still it all works perfectly. This in part is probably because I running quality NVIDIA graphics cards and motherboards and I must be getting good signals but still, it's all going through the KVM and it is all working.

Additional points:

1. This KVM supports 1920 x 1200 screen resolution with perfection.
2. It is easy to switch audio, 2-port USB hub, and KVM independently with very simple hotkeys or you can use the buttons on the device if you'd like.
3. USB ports on device support my Wacom tablet and USB 2.0 external hard drives.
4. All the custom buttons on my Logitech keyboard work just fine. Your mileage may vary
5. Great KVM for graphics professionals.
6. The device comes with 4 sets of integrated cables. The quality is excellent. The video cables are as beefy as it gets. The USB and audio cables are fairly thin but the cable integration is very elegant and well thought-out. There are even integrated caps for the audio cables.
7. Unlike many KVMs, this thing looks cool and all cables are in the back of the unit except for one of the USB ports and a bonus mic and headphones ports on the front. Very clean design.

Good luck.

Nice product, but beware with Mac Pro desktop4
I bought this to use with a Mac Pro (desktop) and a laptop. The product is designed nicely, but appears to havean incompatibility with the Mac Pro - whenever I'd switch away from the Mac it would crash, and the error report upon booting suggested the crash was happening in an Nvidia driver. Apparently when you switch away the computer loses EDID information from the monitor, then crashes. I tried the competing Belkin model (F1DG102D) and, while about $30 more expensive, it works well (though it does use a power adapter, while the Iogear does not). One other quirk with the Iogear is that when booting the DVD drive would pop open. I'm using a Logitech wireless keyboard mouse combo, perhaps the problem is related, but I don't see this with the Belkin.

Works for my setup5
I purchased this item to switch my USB keyboard, mouse, speaker, and DVI LCD monitor connection between a laptop dock and my desk system. I looked at all of the DVI switches on Amazon and this switch was the best compromise between price, feedback, and features for my needs.

Some notes, especially WRT the comments about other switches:

- The special function keys (one-touch Word, Excel, etc) on my Microsoft keyboard continued to work through this switch

- This switch is supplied with a separate toggle switch (flat 1" diameter illuminated push button) which, when pressed, will toggle the switch. Green LED's on the button switch on/off to show which computer is selected.

- Switching may also be accomplished by double-pressing Scroll Lock on the keyboard. The hot key may also be changed to Ctrl by pressing/holding the pushbutton or by a keyboard hot-key sequence.

- There are several switching modes: switch everything, switch only the KVM functions, switch only the audio, or go into an AutoScan mode where it automatically toggles between the two computers at one of four user-selected intervals.

Works as expected4
Works great, but the cables are way too SHORT; as a result it takes a lot of squeezing to get all the components close enough to connect.

IF IT HAD LONGER CABLES, I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND IT.
